I am a wife of 23 years and a mom to 4 boys; all born through natural childbirth, two with hypnosis.  For the past 20 years, I have been involved in serving women in some capacity, whether through small groups, MOPS leadership or just coming beside a new mom and giving emotional support.  11 years ago I decided to follow my dreams and assist women during pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum.  I have attended over 650 births.  I enjoy helping families come up with their birth plan and empowering them through the birthing process.  It is such a joy seeing new parents bonding with their new bundle of joy during that first sacred hour, or two.  3 years ago I decided to add pediatric sleep consulting to my services. I love helping families be more well rested. My specialties during birthing are utilizing Spinning Babies positions, Gilligan's Guide, guided relaxation, massage, reflexology, prayer, using a Rebozo, and using aromatherapy if desired.

Ministering to women and families:
I have always loved working with parents and their children.  I have led and been involved in groups for moms including MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) and POGO (Parent's of Growing Ones).  I worked at a church as the ministry coordinator for 4 years working with volunteers and women's ministry.

Being in ministry to women and families has always been my calling.  It would be my privilege to be there for your family during this exciting time.  I provide doula care in hospitals, birth centers, and at home births.  I am your guide through this journey of childbirth.  I will be your advocate, cheerleader, ambassador, and childbirth guru.  I am there to assist your family in whatever way you deem appropriate guiding you with evidence based information.  Every birth and postpartum plan is customized to your needs.
